Can You Find My Storm-Soaked Soul, My Roar, My Wind?

by Maura Coyne

Can you find my storm-soaked soul
My roar
My wind
As it follows you down a path where we have never been

Can you find my sultry, crying, screaming heart
Broken in a thousand pieces by me and you
Only to be melted back together
By one kiss, one touch
The taste of your Waters

Can you find my hate-lodged in my center like a silver rock
Hating that I need, hating that I want, hating that I am lost

Can you love the tiger inside
Crawling to you
Fast, then slow
Searching for answers, but given none
Letting out that scream from deep within, long ago

Find me

  1. This piece is raw, brave and beautifully expressed. It touched my soul in a deep way. I appreciate it for its authenticity and courage.
