Flap Your Beautiful Wings Of Self-Expression Without Validation Or Applause

Butterfly Transposed

Can a butterfly be born without a cocoon?

Pain was her house
Shifting
Sifting
Through louse
After louse

No home
From which to be birthed
Evolving
From the inside out
Shedding one rumpled layer
After the next
Unknowingly
Evolving
To her highest
Expression
To fly
Soar
Savor the sweet nectar

Does she still need the cocoon?
Can she bloom
Without the safety
Warmth
Security
Live without the struggle
Of emerging
From her nest

I say yes
Hell yes

Stand in awe as
She flaps her beautiful
Wings of self
Expression
Without need of validation
Or applause

Her flight
Is the peak
That leaves one
Speechless

As an Epiphany Midwife, I greatly enjoy supporting my clients in finding clarity by reclaiming their power and listening to their souls. I intuitively access multiple healing modalities. Much of my healing journey has been informed by my quest to heal myself of my own childhood traumas and to put myself back together in the midst of a challenging divorcing process. I've recently completed a nine-month re-birthing process with Heather Ashamara's Warrior Goddess training! When I am not caring for my three free-range children, visiting with members of Cleveland's homeless community or supporting my clients, you may find me exploring the northeast Ohio shoreline, immersed in the deepest forest I can find, painting, writing or practicing contemplative photography.
