How Love Warriors Stay Positive In A World Full Of Chaos And Despair

BY SARAH LOVE McCOY

Your heart is heavy.
You feel frustration and grief and anger when you read the headlines.
You sense the growing intensity in the air.
It’s almost crushing.
It’s enough to drive the most resilient heart to despair.

Simply put, it’s hard to feel hope, to feel loved and inspired all of the time. I get it.
Stuff is up in our world and it’s unsettling at best.

But we must not lose hope for we are truly the ones we’ve been waiting for.

While that is a lot of responsibility, I’m here to remind you that you were, indeed, made for these times.

The time is now to turn things around and it’s up to us.

We’re all putting out frequencies with our thoughts, words, and energy, so what better way to make a difference in the world than contributing an energy of love? Plus, it’s more fun than living with fear and anxiety of what’s coming next. It’s more rewarding to boot.

Your Love Changes the World
There’s no need to play out this craziness anymore. We can turn towards loving ourselves deeper, healing our inner wounds, and loving our children and relatives, too. We can send love out into the world with every thought, word, and action. I truly believe we can!

It’s not all butterflies and rainbows, of course. It takes practice and it helps when you have people in your life that can lift you up. The good news is that the ripple effect is instantaneous and the shift can happen in a snap.

So, how do we stay positive in a world that seems full of chaos and despair? For me, it’s all about the little things…

Feel all the feels. Don’t stuff it down and pretend it’s not there. This is not a loving way to treat yourself. Find ways to process and channel your emotions so they don’t get stuck.

Find reminders of love by seeking out the good inside yourself and in the world. What we look for we will find. The evidence of the world being a beautiful place is all around you.

This is like building a muscle. It takes practice and it gets easier over time.
Visualize a world where there is a love vibration humming in all of our hearts. Really feel that world, how natural it is. We are such loving creatures and we all crave it so badly. Do this at least once a day.

Every day, read a positive message. Daily mantras are a big part of it. Bombard your brain with nutritious sustenance. Don’t fall down the rabbit hole of crap on social media or news.

Tune into what you need in each moment. Try your best to quiet the noise around you so you can hear what your inner voice is trying to say.

You are the authority on your own life and you have quite the insights if you make space for them to arise.

I’m one person living in this wild world, just like you. Sometimes I have no idea what to do with all the intensity of our current time. But when I take a step in the direction of love, my heart grows and I am hopeful again.

Take the steps to create a loving world. It starts on the inside and works it’s way out. You are the one you’ve been waiting for.

I hope you’re inspired to love yourself a little deeper and allow that love to ripple out in all directions.

If not you, then who?

“The doors to the world of the wild Self are few but precious. If you have a deep scar, that is a door, if you have an old, old story, that is a door. If you love the sky and the water so much you almost cannot bear it, that is a door. If you yearn for a deeper life, a full life, a sane life, that is a door.” ― Clarissa Pinkola Estés . . . #wakeupanddream #youarethemagic #howlforyourlife
