“Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other.”
We unknowingly embody lies,
false stories we hold tight to.
Delusions which appear so real:
words, behaviors, actions, opinions
we’ve absorbed throughout our lifetime;
causing us to deny our own divinity.
inflicting pain and suffering on ourselves,
somehow, believing; we deserve it.
How do we,
Why do we, measure ourselves:
upon the words, behaviors, actions, opinions of others; who,
don’t even know who they are?
How do we,
Why do we, expect others :
to love, honor and respect us; if,
we do not love, honor and respect ourselves?
It is our choice.
Everything is learned and unlearned,
accepted or rejected,
absorbed or released;
there is no other way.
Choose freedom. Choose love.
When we decide to choose freedom,
when we decide to choose love,
we discover the only one who ever:
inflicts pain, has pained, pains us,
the only one who brings us or robs us of our joy,
the only one who has the power to create our reality,
When we stop denying, rejecting and projecting our pain
and start working with and through it;
we are warriors.
A victim lays down in front of their own feet and tramples themselves; repeatedly.
Which do you wish to be? Act accordingly.
I release my past and my pain.
I refuse to be a prisoner of an unobserved mind.
I reject false ideals and protect myself from absorbing others lies about who I am.
I am worthy. I am joyful. I am love.
