Quiet spaces fill me up
And still I long to find
The place where I can rest my head
And also rest my mind.
Home is this rock, this nook
This cave, the crook of one lone tree
Home is the place my soul unwinds
Where I, at last, feel free.
Goddess, speak, and tell me true
If wild and free can meet me here
In the place my soul calls home
Where I laid aside my fear.
Quiet spaces fill my heart
And the ones who know me best
Know I am strongest when I’m free
And when my heart can rest.
So to the cave, the rock, the wood,
The waterfall I go
To, at once, free my mind
And nurture still my soul.
